There’s this beach town in Sicily that stole my heart. It is called Cefalu (pronounced sheh-falu). This town has so much character and its charm is enough to make the two and half hour drive worthwhile. The cobblestone streets are narrow and full of shops and restaurants. The streets are maze-like and you can have the best seafood here.
In the middle of the loopy roads, you will find the Duomo Square. There are a couple of restaurants and bars (coffee shops) near, so grab a gelato and enjoy the view.
Cefalu is picturesque with its small boats moored on the white sands. The medieval town has a true Italian feel and some say it is Sicily’s undiscovered jewel.
